National conference on Textiles @ PSG

Coimbatore: The Department of Textile Technology at the PSG College of Technology will hold a national conference on `Functional Textiles and Apparels' on February 22 and 23.
Members of the industry and academicians will participate, according to a press release issued here by the institution.

The conference will discuss the latest developments in the field of functional textiles such as hygiene, nano functional and protective textiles.

Paper presentations will include those by experts in the field of functional textiles. In addition to this, a quiz for students on textiles and a poster presentation has also been organised, the press release said.
